About

The Cresset is Peterborough’s foremost multi-purpose venue, playing host to an exciting and diverse mix of live entertainment, community activities, corporate and private events.

Opened by Her Majesty The Queen in 1978, The Cresset has been at the heart of the community ever since. Over the years we have welcomed millions of people through our doors and we pride ourselves on providing the best possible service to each and every one.

We showcase the best live music, comedy, theatre, children’s and family shows, special events and exhibitions. Our thriving community programme offers activities for all ages, including dance and drama classes and community workshops, and our elegant and versatile function suites provide the ideal setting for wedding celebrations, parties, special occasions, business meetings and conferences. We also have plenty of parking on-site, shops and a friendly pub/restaurant – all under one roof.
