Come and out and play in Sir Thomas Tresham's garden. With a new theme each week and different volunteer-led activities throughout the week, we'll keep you busy this summer holidays. Pick up an activity passport and come back each week to collect a stamp. Monday 25 July - Friday 2 September.
Come out and play
On weekdays from Monday 25 July until Friday 2 September, we'll be enjoying a summer in the garden with come back each week to discover a new theme and collect a new sticker.
Butterfly week
From Monday 25 - Friday 29 July, we're celebrating one of our favourite signs of summer - butterflies. There'll be a self-led activity on the theme of butterflies running throughout the week or join us mid-week for led activities and crafts. On Tuesday we'll be meadow sweeping, on Wednesday we'll be joined by our friends from Butterfly Conservation or on Thursday you can make a butterfly feeder.
Garden games week
From Monday 1 - Friday 5 August, we'll be playing garden games with a self-led activity throughout the week. On Tuesday you can try your hand at archery or on Thursday make your own garden game.
Growing week
From Monday 8 - Friday 12 August, we'll be stretching our green fingers. With self-led activities all week and grow your own salad on Tuesday and a gardening-themed craft on Thursday.
Welly week
From Monday 15 - Friday 19 August, we'll be donning our wellies to explore all things watery. Throughout the week they'll be a self-led welly walk (rain not guaranteed) and you can join us to go pond dipping in the moat on Tuesday and create a miniature boat to float on your bath/pond/sink at home.
Uses your senses week
From Monday 22 - Friday 26 August, we'll be using our senses to experience the delights of summer. They'll be a self-led activity all week, an outdoor activity on Tuesday and a craft on Thursday - all helping you to get in touch with nature using your senses.
Picnic week
Monday 29 August - Friday 2 September will be one big picnic. They'll be a self-led activity all week, an outdoor activity on Tuesday and a craft on Thursday - all with a foody theme.
