The play ‘Conchies’, telling the story of how a group of conscientious objectors descended on a village in rural Lincolnshire in 1940 to set up a pacifist community there. They left a legacy both in terms of descendants who remain in the area and have an influence on its character. It will be staged in the Meeting House.
