Peterborough is taking part in Heritage Open Days - England's largest festival of history and culture, bringing together over 2,000 local people and organisations, and thousands of volunteers. Every year in September, places across the country throw open their doors to celebrate their heritage, community and history. It’s your chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences – and it’s all FREE.
To discover more history across our city, you can also follow the Peterborough blue plaque trail. You can download the booklet free of charge here: ow.ly/wSDd50BGoeC. But the discoveries don't stop there! The Peterborough Civic Society website has even more details about these historic locations at: https://www.peterboroughcivicsociety.org.uk/plaque_menublue.php
