About

Learn the centuries-old craft of traditional Japanese flower arranging. Ikebana is the Japanese art of arranging blossoms, greenery and flora. The art is focused on finding the balance and essence of the materials in such a way that they are displayed to their utmost beauty and perfection. You will learn about the mysterious and fascinating philosophy and spirit that Ikebana is based on.

Our Ikebana Workshop begins with a detailed demonstration from host, Rie Day, providing an introduction to the different styles used in Ikebana. You will then have the chance to get hands on and put your learning to the test by creating your very own Ikebana. Rie will be on hand to offer support and guidance in creating your display.

Everything will be provided for you to create you own Ikebana to take home for display in your home.

All skill levels are welcome, from beginners to those with previous flower arranging experience.
