For 3 weekends a year, the artists and craftspeople of the Peterborough area open their studios, homes or other venue to the public to showcase their work. Visitors are welcome to have a look round, talk to the artists and learn about the techniques and materials involved.
Entry to each venue is free. All the artists will have original work for sale and often have cards and prints available although there is of course absolutely no obligation to buy anything.
Some venues will offer refreshments, demonstrate techniques or open their gardens so check out the artist pages or the directory for more details. You can see multiple artists' work at the HackSpace in Bretton, Norman Cross Art Gallery, Unique Cottage Studios, and St Michael's Church in Stanground.
Win £100 to spend with an artist of your choice with Peterborough Artists Open Studios (PAOS)!
We are pleased to be celebrating Open Studios again this year with the return of our competition. Win £100 to spend with the PAOS artist(s) of your choice.
For a chance to win, collect 8 stickers from 8 different venues taking part in PAOS (each venue has a corresponding number on the grid in your brochure, which you can download here). An artist at the venues you visit will add a venue sticker to the grid in your brochure. Once you have 8 stickers, please fill in your details, cut out the page and hand it to an artist at one of the venues.
Free prize draw. No purchase necessary. You can enter more than once if you’re really crazy for local art and have visited many more venues. But remember all entries must be in multiples of 8. Entry closes at the end of events on 10th July. The winner will be notified by the end of July. Visit www.paos.org.uk for terms and conditions.
