The night sky is one of nature's most magnificent sights, join us for an inspiring and educational evening and gain a greater understanding of our celestial wonders. Whether you are an avid stargazer or a novice, prepare to be enthralled at Burghley's Stargazing Evenings. Each evening includes:

Introductory talk - expert astronomers from Peterborough Astronomy Society will provide a fascinating insight to the night sky and the skills and equipment involved in stargazing

Planetarium experience in the Great Hall - enjoy a captivating 360 degree journey through the cosmos in an inflatable Planetarium Dome

Guided stargazing in Burghley's private South Gardens (weather permitting) - your chance to witness awe-inspiring deep sky wonders, and marvel at the cosmos up close using Peterborough Astronomy Society's telescopes. With delicious hot chocolate on offer to keep you cosy!
