Tuesdays Till Two - Lunchtime Concert: Jill Crossland

For the third concert of our autumn season we welcome back one of our most regular performers, pianist Jill Crossland. In this concert she will be performing music by Scarlatti, Bach, Chopin, and Debussy.
As ever St John's will be open for an hour before the concert begins, with volunteers from the pop-up café team offering lots of home made sweet and savoury treats as well as hot and cold drinks.
The concert will begin promptly at 1pm. Admission is free, but those who are able to afford it are asked to make a donation. The suggested amount is £5.
About Jill Crossland:
Jill Crossland pursues an active concert and recording career, and has appeared on radio and TV, including live and recorded broadcasts on BBC Radios 3 and 4. You can see some of Jill's past performances on her Youtube channel at https://www.youtube.com/c/JillCrosslandPiano, which was extensively developed during lockdown, and she also recently released digital albums of Handel, Bach and Mozart.
Jill's remastered recording of Bach pieces, also released during lockdown, has been described as an ‘exquisite synthesis of elegance, intimacy, and tonal beauty....lovely and captivating (Fanfare).
