The Cresset Comedy Club hosts the very best in live stand up each month.
In May, we're delighted to be welcoming Tom Lucy, Inel Tomlinson, Kuan-wen Huang and Jeremy Flynn to The Cresset!
Tom Lucy is one of the youngest comedians working professionally on the UK circuit, taking to the stage at the tender age of 16! Tom now regularly performs for the UK’s top clubs including The Stand and The Glee Clubs and is the youngest professional comedian to play weekends at London’s legendary Comedy Store. He's also supported Jack Whitehall and performed on Comedy Central’s Stand Up Central, Roast Battle, and ITV2's The Stand Up Sketch Show.
Multi-award winning stand-up, actor, voice artist, gamer and Twitch streamer Inel Tomlinson exudes the type of magnetic charm, charisma and talent that instantly demands your attention whether on TV, stage or radio. Coupled with an electric smile and the world’s loudest laugh, it’s hard not to fall for his exuberant personality! Inel is best known for being one half of Johnny and Inel, the UK's first black comedy double act, starring in two hit CBBC shows and hugely successful radio shows for Fubar Radio and Virgin Radio UK.
Kuan-wen Huang is an emerging comedian, writer and actor from Taiwan, with major breakthroughs on the UK circuit in the last two years. With a unique voice and his trademark quirky persona, Kuan-wen is an alumni of the Soho Theatre Young Company and recently performed for Comedy Central at the Edinburgh Fringe. He's also a seasoned comedy show compere, hosting the Saturday Night show at The Secret Comedy Club in Brighton monthly and having run his popular comedy night Comedy Gobbledygook in London since 2017.
Last but certainly not least, Jeremy Flynn is a Bristol comic who has been performing an entertaining mix of observations, anecdotes and gags since 2015. He reached the semi finals of So You Think You’re Funny, a prestigious annual stand-up comedy competition for new acts, soon after entering the world of comedy; and in 2019 was nominated for the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year.
