Following the huge success of the first Peterborough Pride held in July 2018, the organisers of this fantastic event have confirmed the go-ahead of Peterborough Pride 2019.
Building on the success and positive feedback from this year’s event, Peterborough Pride 2019 will run from Friday 28th June until Friday 5th July 2019 and promises to be even bigger and better, with a week-long programme of performances, parties, gatherings and acts of solidarity all celebrating the city’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.
Lead organiser, Simon Green, said: “I’m delighted to announce that Peterborough Pride 2019 will once again see the city come together in such a positive way.
This year’s event was the culmination of months of planning and the collective hard work and vision of a large number of dedicated individuals, businesses and organisations. Thank you to everyone involved and all who came out to party.”
We are holding a special information session for venues, businesses and organisations who would like to host or lead an event that will feature in the Pride Programme 2019, prospective sponsors and all who have something special to offer! This session will be on 24th January 2019, from 6pm at The Metal, Chauffeur's Cottage St Peter's Road, Peterborough. PE1 1YX. Food and drink provided, please email to reserve your place.
