Peterborough's Strongest is being organised in association with Royals Gym and will take place in the heart of the city centre on Sunday 20th August. It will consist of five events across four categories, including Women, Beginners, Novice, and Intermediate.
Competition entry is made via the Facebook event page (Peterborough's Strongest 2023) and the £30 fee includes a t-shirt and trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each category. Spectators can watch for free, and the action begins at 11am.
World Strongman Games athlete, Craig Candler, will be the competition's head referee, with current International Powerlifting League (IPL) Bench Press world number 2, PJ Carter, taking to the floor as the event's compare.
